Harvey has represented my company for over ten years. He has helped me to make the hard business decisions and has always helped me to make the right decision.
Harvey isn't just a an excellent real estate attorney, he's also been a building contractor, broker, and real estate investor. His breadth and depth of knowledge helped me with some real estate investment decisions, as well as defending myself against bad contractors. Harvey used his knowledge of the law to make sure signed contracts were valid and that the contractors and their sub contractors followed the law, building codes, and regulations. He also took the time to explain to me what he was doing through every step. I highly recommend him.
I have worked with many lawyers over the years and Harvey Stern is the most personable and trust worthy one I've ever dealt with. He's one of the only lawyers that I've hired that actually cared about my case and wasn't just making me a number.
I had a negligence case with a hotel and I was going to have to go to court which would have cost me too much money, and felt overwhelming to deal with. I saw him and told him my story, he listened, he asked thoughtful questions and said he could help me take care of the case most likely without having to go to court. He worked it out with the other council and he he negotiated a fair settlement that took a weight off my mind and saved me the time money and stress. I would highly recommend him.
My home was in foreclosure and Harvey stopped it. He then negotiated with my bank and got me a modification with an interest rate of 3%.
