Special Episode 6, Short 3

Once a foreclosure begins, homeowners may still have a chance to stop the process. In a non judicial foreclosure, California law allows about three months and twenty days before a sale is finalized.

In many cases, this option remains available up to one week before the scheduled sale date, giving a final opportunity to bring the loan current and prevent loss of the property.
